Formed in 1998 the Elias String Quartet are now firmly established as one of the most intense and vibrant ensembles of their generation with a busy international schedule and a string of recordings and accolades to their name.

This six concert Beethoven quartet cycle, spread over two seasons, is the fulfilment of the Elias’ Beethoven Project, made possible by a generous Borletti Buitoni Trust award, which will see them performing the cycle at venues throughout the UK including The Concert Hall.
