Reading Rep, in association with The Hexagon and Reading 2016 Year of Culture, are delighted to present Ben - Hur.

Ben Hur is played by Miles Yekinni (Doctors, War Horse) 
Matt Lapinskas plays Messala  (Eastenders, Dancing On Ice) 
Chris Barritt plays Balthazar (The Caretakers, History Boys) 
Rebecca Tanwen plays Zina (Mr Selfridge, The Fear)
Ian Pirie plays Melchoir (Black Watch, Macbeth, Eastenders, les Miserables)  

Join us in September for the epic tale of the life and times of Ben-Hur. His extraordinary journey takes him from wealthy merchant to galley slave, to champion charioteer and witness at the Crucifixion.

This large-scale production of award-winning playwright Hattie Naylor's adaptation takes place at Reading's Hexagon theatre and features a community cast of over 70 Reading residents of all ages, working alongside professional actors to bring this classic tale to life.

The production will mark the start of Reading's Year of Culture 'Made in RDG' - a month of projects celebrating work made by and for the people of Reading.
