By train
From London to Reading: trains run from London Paddington to Reading at least every 15 minutes throughout the day and late into the night. The journey takes just 25 minutes, if you get a direct train.

From Oxford to Reading: trains run every 15 - 30 minutes and the journey takes 30 minutes.

From Newbury to Reading: trains run every 15 minutes and the journey takes between 20 - 30 minutes.

By Car
From the West
Leave the M4 at Junction 12 and follow the A4 into the centre of Reading. You will reach a main roundabout (Reading Police station will be directly opposite), take the forst exit signposted for Caversham, and from there onwards follow the signs for Rivermead.
Fom the East
Leave the M4 at Junction 10 and follow the A329 (M) towards Reading. You will enter Reading via the Kings Road, follow the signs for Reading Station, until you pick up signs for Rivermead. The Complex is well signposted from the centre of Reading and is approximately 15 minutes from the M4 Junctions.

Access:
Rivermead has level access to wheelchair seating
Toilet for people with disabilities.
A wheelchair is available for use on site.
We welcome both seeing and hearing Guide Dogs. Please advise at the time of booking. A bowl of water can be provided.
Large print and audio brochures are available on request.
For deaf patrons, the Box Office Minicom number is 0118 939 0040.
Baby changing facilities are available (children under 18 months will require a 1 Babes in Arms ticket)

Brewstirs
offers a wholesome variety hot food, snacks and salads, specific hot meals and or finger buffets can be arranged for large groups of up to 300 people. Larger groups can be catered by arrangement.
Scullars Bar: Opening Times Monday Friday 6pm 11pm Saturday & Sunday open for only for specific bookings and events.

The Rivermead is a multi functional leisure complex and caters for a wide range of activities and events, with two large halls acuminating up to 2,500sqm, plus ancillary rooms, over 13 acres of grassland and a 600 bay car park, the complex lends itself perfectly for your event.
