'Absolutely georgeous, like an aural bath with the warm water lapping over you' Cerys Matthews

'amazing, amazing album which i think should have been on the mercury music awards short list' Guy Garvey (Elbow frontman)

This Is The Kit is Kate Stables playing banjo, guitar and a voice accompianied by her Wild Band creating primal and electric textures onto songs of unpretentious beauty. They can genuinely be described as ‘on the up’, with several prestigious festival slots lined up over the summer and receiving regular national radio play. Most excitingly their next album will be produced and released worldwide by The National's Brassland Records.

As well as "celebrity" support from The National's Dessner brothers, Guy Garvery and Cerys Mattews, TITK have also recorded sessions for fans Rob Da Bank and Marc Riley.

They return to South Street after supporting Francois & The Atlas Mountains in 2011 and support comes from Fence Records favourite Rozi Plain.
