Following the huge success of their acclaimed Brandenburg Concertos project, the Academy of Ancient Music now turns its attention to Bach’s other great orchestraln collection – the Orchestral Suites. Performed one-to-a-part, Richard Egarr and players from the AAM will bring their intimate knowledge of JS Bach and boundless energy to this project, to give fresh insights into these French-inspired masterpieces that brim with the spirit of the dance. Richard will present the Suites ‘in conversation’, sharing insights and anecdotes about the instruments and historical context of the Suites.
