We are delighted to welcome the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra to Reading, for their debut concert at The Hexagon. This award-winning orchestra is the UK’s oldest continuing professional orchestra and has been at the heart of Liverpool’s cultural life since 1840. Russian-born Vasily Petrenko is the orchestra’s Chief Conductor, taking up the baton in Liverpool in 2006. Still only in his midthirties, Petrenko is recognized as one of the exceptional musicians of his generation.
