Moscow City Ballet return to The Hexagon this March with the exquisitely designed and powerfully emotive Swan Lake; and an exhilarating traditional Russian version of Cinderella.

Moscow City Ballet, accompanied by the Moscow Ballet Orchestra has performed to the highest standard and audiences have enjoyed the unique style and artistic integrity of Victor Smirnov-Golovanov's choreography, as well as original versions of the great classical Russian repertoire.

Swan Lake is probably the world’s best-known ballet, set to Tchaikovsky’s sublime score.

Victor Smirnov-Golovanov’s flawless production is a stunning demonstration of the precision, artistry and sheer grace for which Moscow City Ballet is renowned throughout the world.

You will be moved by this fable which follows the fate of Prince Siegfried and he falls in love with the beautiful Swan Queen, Odette. The ballet’s soaring climax sees the power of true love conquer the forces of evil.

The Company has some of the most accomplished and artistic soloists, and a sublime corps de ballet, all schooled in the in the best traditions of the Russian school. The costumes and sets are opulent, colourful, and a feast for the eye when the curtain goes up.

Cinderella takes place on Friday 5 & Saturday 6 March.
