An American in Paris

From Elgar’s energetic and colourful depiction of Southern Italy, painting warm images of sun-soaked hills, Roman Legions and the azure Mediterranean, to Gershwin’s An American in Paris, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra samples summer on the Continent. Guitarist John Williams, recognised around the world as one of the foremost musicians of our time, will be joining British maestro Alexander Shelley to perform Rodrigo’s radiant Concierto de Aranjuez, and Goss’ exceptional Guitar Concerto.
