Known for its virtuosic, entertaining and distinctive performance style, its recordings have been widely praised; the Sunday Times, BBC Music Magazine, Gramophone and BBC Radio 3 have all selected a Galliard Ensemble CD as "outstanding" or as Critics' Choice.
