How do I become a member?

You can purchase membership online, or over the phone from the box office on 0118 9606060

How do I get priority booking?

Priority booking will be available for selected events. If priority booking is available, notification will be sent out to members by email in advance of the priority booking opening. Due to the nature of some events the notification may fall very close to the on sale date. It will be limited to 6 tickets per transaction. You will need to log into your account online first to be able to book for events with priority booking.

Can I  transfer my South Street membership to Reading Arts membership?

Yes, if you have an existing South Street Membership you can transfer to the new Reading Arts membership. Please contact us on 0118 9372011 to discuss.

How do I receive discounts on tickets?

You will be notified by email of any offers available to you, if you do have an offer for an event this will be applied once you have logged in and put the tickets in your basket.

How do I avoid paying the booking fee?

If you have a Gold Membership booking fees will not apply for your bookings. This will be applied once you have logged in and added tickets to  your basket.

How do I gift a membership?

Please select ‘Gift Membership’ against the relevant type of membership, and complete the fields,  if you want to email the gift directly to the recipient please add their email address, if not you will be emailed a code to pass onto the recipient which they can then redeem against the membership.

How do I renew my membership?

When it is time to renew (from 30 days before expiry date or 30 days after) you will receive an email to remind you. You can then do this online or through the box office.

How do I receive the 10% off bar and café discount?

Please show your membership card at the bar or café. Please note discounts are available at all of The Hexagon’s bars and cafes and at the bar at South Street.

I am not receiving emails and newsletters?

To ensure you receive targeted communication from Reading Arts please ensure you have the categories ticked in Contact Preferences. Please log into your account to enable this or call the box office on 0118 9606060

When should I receive newsletters?

We send out a member’s newsletter every month.

Do I need a South Street membership and Reading Arts Membership?

No you should only need one membership depending on your reasons for joining. Find out more about the benefits of Reading Arts membership here or South Street membership here.

The Venue reserves the right to cancel Tickets which they reasonably suspect to have been booked fraudulently, which exceed any advertised limits on the quantity that a person/household can buy, or which they suspect to have been resold, or attempted to be resold, for financial gain. Any applicable restrictions on the quantity of Tickets that can be purchased will be made clear at the time of booking. If a Membership is purchased that the venue deems as being used to fulfil fraudulently booked tickets we reserve the right to cancel the Membership and the Tickets.
