About

Being a maker of any kind is a more than full time job, often all consuming with antisocial hours and bad pay, and so is mothering! How can we navigate these two demanding roles? Mothers Who Make is a monthly peer support group and creative exchange session for mothers who are artists or makers of any kind, professional and/or passionate. We hold space for you to find whatever support or connection you might need, and it’s a great way to meet and collaborate with other mothers from different creative backgrounds.  Every kind of maker and every kind of mother are welcome. We meet on the third Monday of each month, please book so we have an idea of numbers.

Children of all ages are welcome are encouraged to attend and are integrated into the meeting. There will be toys to welcome them to the space.

Refreshments are available, buggy parking and changing facilities.
We ask for a donation to help us cover our facilitators' costs, refreshments and play equipment for the children. £3-£5 is suggested, if you can afford it.
